Libbie R. Lofton, 98, departed her life Monday, March 4, 2013 at Moses Cone Hospital. Visitation/Tribute will be held at 7pm, Wednesday, March 6 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Greensboro. Funeral services will be held at J.T. Kerr Memorial Baptist Church in Jacksonville, NC, Friday, March 8 at 12noon. The family will receive family and friends at the home. She leaves to cherish her memory, two loving and devoted children, daughter, Angela of Greensboro; son, Pastor Johnnie Thomas (Diane) of Greensboro; step-daughter, Joyce of Atlanta, GA; six grandchildren, D. Cherie, Johnnie IV, Ricardo, Shawn (Jamelle), and Katrena, all of Greensboro, and Shanna of Atlanta, GA; five great-grandchildren all of Greensboro, Chelsei, Johnny V, Ayannah, Maria, and Shawn; special friends, Margaret Foskey of Greensboro, Kimberly Foskey Bell and Joi Bell of Savannah, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
