Emma Howell Hughes, 89, passed away on July 6, 2012 at Beacon Place. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00pm with 11:30pm visitation, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Rescue Temple, 601 Franklin Blvd. Emma was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years,Willie Hughes, a brother Walter and a sister Irene Glover. She is survived by her children; Emma Jean Alexander, Luerine Hughes both of New York and Willie James Hughes of the home, her grandchildren; Avery Hughes, Angela H. Askew, Johnnie Hughes, Jeannetta Alexander Daniels, and Johnnie Alexander, Jr., and fourteen great-grandchildren.
